Tuesday, July 14, 2015
9:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Guided tours beginning and ending at Natick Historical Society Museum, 58 Eliot Street (Bacon Free Library Building lower level)

Get a look into the past via the scenic landscape and extraordinary architecture of South Natick. The tours take about an hour and cover about 1/2 mile.

The experienced walking tour guide will share stories about the people, buildings, and events that make up the layers of history in this area, from John Eliot and the Praying Indians to the Oldtown days of Harriet Beecher Stowe and beyond.

Please be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Tours will meet and end at the Natick Historical Museum, 58 Eliot Street (The Bacon Free Library lower level).  Refreshments are available for sale across the street and public restroom facilities are available in the library.  Sorry–the restroom is not wheelchair accessible.

All are welcome–the event is free for NHS members and students in Natick.  A $5 donation is requested from non-members.  No reservations needed.

Scheduled especially for the Council on Aging
